| Join the Illinois Labor History Society and the Chicago Federation of Labor on Saturday, May 1st, to celebrate the 135th anniversary of the historic walkout for the eight-hour day that became the holiday for working people around the world!This year’s Mayday celebration will be virtual, with two separate plaque dedications. The first will be with the Italian Metallurgical Federation, FiOM at 11 a.m. The second will be with Coalition of Black Trade Unionists (CBTU) at 12:30 p.m. Both will be streamed on FaceBook and on YouTube. |
